The Bible's "5 Steps to Heaven"

INTRODUCTION

 

     People all Around the World have Many Different Ideas about Who can go to Heaven and What it takes to Get there; Different Beliefs, Different Paths and Different Religions.  Few Stop to realize this One Very Important Thing; “Heaven Doesn’t Belong to Us” - so It’s not up to “US” to decide WHO can Go to Heaven and WHAT it Takes to Get There!  Heaven Belongs to GOD and HE ALONE decides WHO can enter Heaven and WHAT it takes to Get there!  So what WE need to Understand is that Regardless of what WE might THINK or what WE might BELIEVE, it’s Only GOD’S WAY that Matters!

     Every Day 150,000 people Die and are Instantly Thrust into Eternity (54 million every year) - Most of them HOPING to make it to Heaven!  But, according to the Bible, only a Few ever Will!  Is that because Most People are BAD People?  NO!  It's because Most People never take the Time - like YOU'RE doing Right Now - to Find Out what God says it Takes to GET to Heaven!

 

     You see, because most people DON'T KNOW what God says it takes to Get to Heaven, they're convinced that Going to Heaven must have something to do with "Being a Good Person", "Doing Good Deeds" or "Being Religious" BUT the Bible makes it Very Clear that Going to Heaven has NOTHING to do with ANY of

These Things!

     God has a SIMPLE MESSAGE that He wants Everyone on Planet Earth to Hear, regardless of Who You Are or Where You Live! God wants EVERYONE to go to Heaven, that’s why He made His PATH to Heaven so CLEAR and so SIMPLE!  Now although God’s Message is a SIMPLE one, it’s the Most IMPORTANT Message ANYONE can ever HEAR because HOW you choose to RESPOND to God’s Message will determine whether you spend ETERNITY in HEAVEN OR in HELL.

 

     God calls His SIMPLE MESSAGE, "THE GOSPEL".  "THE GOSPEL" is all about God's Son Jesus, WHO He Is, WHAT He Said, WHAT He Did, WHY we should LOVE Him and WHY we need Him to be our LORD and SAVIOR.  God's GOSPEL MESSAGE is also about His Amazing PLAN of SALVATION!   

     

     Why do we need a Savior?  Because Everyone on Earth has a Huge Problem!  There is a HUGE GAP Between God and Man and there's more than just a Geographical Difference - there's a Spiritual Gap as well.  You see, God is Holy, Just, Righteous, Pure and Perfect BUT WE, "on the other hand", are NOT!  WE are just about the OPPOSITE of Perfect!  NONE of us is Perfect, and we NEVER will be!  God is Perfect and Heaven is Perfect and God could NEVER allow ANYTHING IMPERFECT into Heaven because if He did, Heaven WOULDN'T be PERFECT Anymore!

     When we compare ourselves to a lot of other people, we may consider ourselves a "pretty good" person.

     The GOSPEL simply means; "GOOD NEWS"!  BUT, before you can fully Understand and Appreciate the "GOOD NEWS", you must also Understand the "BAD NEWS".  The "BAD NEWS" is that God is Holy, Just, Righteous, Pure and Perfect BUT "on the other hand",WE are NOT!  WE are just about the OPPOSITE of Perfect!  Have you ever heard someone say, "I know I'm not Perfect but ..."?  Well, they're Absolutely Right, they're NOT PERFECT, they Never Will Be PERFECT and Neither will WE!  God could NEVER allow ANYTHING IMPERFECT into Heaven because if He did, Heaven WOULDN'T be PERFECT Anymore!

     So you see, WE have a HUGE PROBLEM!  NONE of us are Perfect so NONE of us could EVER be allowed into God's Perfect HEAVEN!  No matter how "Good" we try to be, God knows all the Bad Things we have ever Thought, all the Bad Things we have Ever Done and all the Bad Things we will do in the Future - God knows every one of us, "Inside and Out"! 

 

God's "Good News" is all about God's "One and Only" Son Jesus and God's Amazing PLAN of SALVATION!

So What IS God's PATH to Heaven?

​

When God looks down on us from Heaven, He sees EVERYTHING, not just the "Good Things" we want other people to see, God sees us all, "Inside and Out".  He knows all the  but God actually sees inside our Hearts.  God knows all the evil thoughts we have

and and because of this, God could NEVER allow any of us into Heaven IMPERFECT

into Heaven otherwise, Heaven WOULDN'T be PERFECT Anymore! 

 

It's not enough to just WANT to Go to Heaven, you have to know HOW to Get to Heaven!

 

So God came up with a way through the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to make it possible for anyone that WANTS to go to Heaven, to be able to GO to Heaven!  The Gospel Message is all about God's Amazing "Plan of Salvation"!

     God's GOSPEL Message reveals WHO Jesus Christ is, WHAT 

Jesus said, WHAT Jesus did, WHY Jesus did what He did, WHY Jesus is more IMPORTANT than ANYTHING ELSE on Planet Earth and WHY He is So Worthy of our Deepest LOVE and our Highest PRAISE.  The Purpose of the GOSPEL is to give you all the Information you need to make the most IMPORTANT DECISION of your LIFE!  Will you choose to Believe the GOSPEL or REJECT it?    You see, God will not Force ANYONE into HEAVEN 

AGAINST their WILL - that's why He lets US choose Where we want to Spend Eternity - in HEAVEN or in HELL.

     God says EVERYONE MUST make their own  Personal Decision - there is No Way Around It.  Either you will Choose to ACCEPT Jesus Christ as your LORD and SAVIOR, or will you REJECT HIM?

 

 

Will you Accept Jesus or Reject Him?  To Neglect is to Reject!

Once you die it's Too Late and to Neglect is to Reject!

 

 

God will Never Force Anyone into Heaven against their Will.  You haveThat's why God allows us to choose our own DESTINY - HEAVEN or HELL.

 

 

To NEGLECT is to REJECT.  Will you choose HEAVEN or will you choose HELL?

     So now you Understand why GOD'S GOSPEL MESSAGE is so IMPORTANT!  It  

 

 

God won't Force Anyone into Heaven against their Will.  That's why God allows us to choose our own DESTINY - HEAVEN or HELL.

and WHY we should give our HEARTS to Him and Receive Him as Our LORD and SAVIOR.

  we should LOVE Him with all of our Heart, Mind and Spirit!  more than ANYTHING ELSE on Planet Earth! and why Eternity depends on so you can make whether lead you to a Saving Knowledge God's One and Only Path to Heaven.  Because understanding the Gospel your Eternal Destiny depends on the Message of the Gospel

          So what is the Simple Message that God wants Everyone to Hear?  It's called "The GOSPEL".  The GOSPEL simply means; "GOOD NEWS"!  God's "Good News" is all about His Son Jesus and God's Amazing Salvation Plan. 

 

 

"The GOSPEL" is God's Salvation Message and it explains God's One and Only Path to Heaven. designed to give each of us an Eternal home in Heaven and rescue us from a Terrible place called Hell.

You see, it's Not Enough to just WANT to Go to Heaven, you have to know HOW to Get to Heaven!

​

          So what is this Simple Message that God wants Everyone to Hear?  It's called "The GOSPEL".  The GOSPEL simply means; "GOOD NEWS"!  God's "Good News" is all about His Son Jesus.

 

 

 

The GOSPEL tells us WHY Jesus chose to leave the Wonders of Heaven to come down to Earth and become a man. It tells us about His Life, Why He died such a cruel Death on the Cross and all about His Glorious Resurrection.

     The Gospel reveals the Amazing Grace of God, His Love, His Compassion and how He solved mankind's Biggest Problem!  You see, God is Holy, Just, Righteous and Pure - He is Perfect just as Heaven is Perfect.  We on the other hand, are just about the opposite of perfect and God could never allow anything imperfect into Heaven otherwise, it just wouldn't be Heaven.  So God came up with a way through the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to make it possible for anyone that WANTS to go to Heaven, to be able to GO to Heaven!  The Gospel Message is all about God's Amazing "Plan of Salvation"!

     The Gospel tells us Who Jesus really is, What Jesus Said and What Jesus Did.  The Gospel also tells us about the Love of Jesus and what compelled Him to leave the Wonders of Heaven to come down to earth and to be tortured and then murdered by the hands of angry, sinful men.  The Gospel tells us about the Life of Jesus, the Death of Jesus and the Resurrection of Jesus!

 

     The Gospel is Truly and Amazing Story.  It's God's Story 

 

   

live among sinful men and then to die a horrible death and live here among men how that God Loved us so much, He sent His One and Only Son Jesus, down to Earth to be born in a manger, to grow up, Live a Sinless Life, to Die on the Cross for the Sins of the World and then to Rise Again from the dead to be the Savior of the World!  AND, how Jesus willingly did all this for us so we could go to Heaven and Not have to spend all of ETERNITY in that TERRIBLE place called HELL.

 

So what IS this Simple Message that God wants Everyone to Hear?  It's called "The GOSPEL".  The GOSPEL simply means; "GOOD NEWS"!  God's "Good News" is the True Story of Jesus, how that God Loved us so much, He sent His One and Only Son Jesus, down to Earth to be born in a manger, to grow up, Live a Sinless Life, to Die on the Cross for the Sins of the World and then to Rise Again from the dead to be the Savior of the World!  AND, how Jesus willingly did all this for us so we could go to Heaven and Not have to spend all of ETERNITY in that TERRIBLE place called HELL.

Now THIS is CRITICAL for you to UNDERSTAND - GOD'S GOSPEL MESSAGE IS THE ONE AND ONLY PATH TO HEAVEN!

​

There is NOTHING we can DO to EARN Eternal Life, it is a FREE GIFT, Bought and Paid for by Jesus Christ Himself by His Death and Resurrection!  We are Saved by GRACE Alone, through FAITH Alone, in CHRIST Alone!

​

     IF YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN, you have to First HEAR the Gospel, UNDERSTAND the Gospel, you have to BELIEVE the Gospel and then you have to put your FAITH, LOVE and TRUST in the CHRIST of Gospel!  ONLY THEN will God by His GRACE, Save You, Forgive your Sins and give you Eternal Life in Heaven!  The Bible makes it very clear, "There is Absolutely NO OTHER WAY TO HEAVEN"!

     God's Gospel Message will give you the Information, the Truth, the Trust and the Faith you need to Understand and Believe in "God's Simple Plan of Salvation" which we call, "The Bible's 5 Steps to Heaven". 

 

God wants everyone to Go to Heaven AND be 100% SURE they will!  BUT, before you can Receive God's Free Gift of Eternal Life, you have to know what God's Plan of Salvation is. there are some things God wants you to know.  We call these things, "The Bible's 5 Steps to Heaven".  You need to:

1. HEAR the GOSPEL

2. UNDERSTAND the GOSPEL

3. BELIEVE the GOSPEL

4. LOVE JESUS as Your LORD

5. RECEIVE JESUS as Your SAVIOR

1. KNOW Who Jesus IS

2. BELIEVE What Jesus SAID

3. UNDERSTAND What Jesus DID

4. LOVE Jesus as Your LORD

5. TRUST Jesus as Your SAVIOR

     So how do you find out about the Gospel and all these things about Jesus, who He is, what He said, what He did, why you should love Him, why you need Him to be your Savior and how you can absolutely know for sure that you're going to go to Heaven? 

Answer: By opening up God's Word, the Bible and Reading, Understanding and Believing these things for yourself.

 

VERY IMPORTANT: 

     God wants you to read His Word because that's where your Faith will come from and Faith is Necessary for your Salvation:

 

Romans:10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

 

     Where does Faith come from?  Faith comes by Hearing

the Word of God (or Reading the Word of God).

 

Ephesians 2:8

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

​

     How are we Saved?  We are Saved by God's Grace once God sees that we have placed our Faith and Trust in His Son Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior.

​

        BEFORE WE WALK YOU THROUGH THESE 5 STEPS, 

       READ THROUGH THE "BOOK OF JOHN" IN THE BIBLE.

​

     "Do you have to read through the whole Bible?"  No, but as a minimum, we believe that you should read through the "Book of John" (also called the "Gospel of John"). This will allow God to reach out to you through His Word and will give you a much clearer understanding of God's Gospel Message.  The Gospel of John has 21 short chapters and should only take you a couple of hours to read through it. 

​

     Please take the reading of God's Word Very Seriously.  It's not a matter of "skimming over the pages" just to get through it.  We can't Fool God - He knows our Hearts and Minds.  Pray before you begin reading and ask God to help you understand what you are reading and to give you the Faith to Believe it in your heart.  We suggest that you read through the "Gospel of John" as though your Eternal Destiny is "Hanging in the Balance".  Why?  Because it is!

 

     If you feel you missed a lot the first time through, read through it again and as many times as you need to until you Understand who Jesus is; the Creator of the Universe, the Son of God and the Redeemer of all Mankind.  Read what Jesus had to say about Himself, God the Father, Salvation and Eternal Life.  Read how Jesus suffered and died for the sins of all mankind and rose again from the grave on the 3rd day to become the Savior of the World.
